The Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology is a research and educational institute. It consists of four departments: Architecture, Urbanism, Building Technology and Real Estate and Housing. Each department contains a number of research groups, of which the Delft School of Design (Architecture) and the Computation and Performance Research Group (Building Technology) participate in the UKNA. The Faculty of Architecture has a long-standing tradition of international collaboration and is committed to fostering a vivid research culture, running various programmes, collaborations and international exchanges that are enhanced by peer-review colloquia, seminars and debates. One of the faculty’s core tasks is mobilising multi-disciplinary knowledge, skills and reputation in creating more sustainable living environments, with a priority on contributing solutions to the urgent challenges of urbanisation in the context of climate change.
