Sol Price School of Public Policy, University of Southern California (USC Price)

USC Price School of Public Policy (formerly known as School of Policy, Planning and Development (SPPD)) is a graduate institute within the University of Southern California. Its research activities may be described in three broad, cross-disciplinary categories: Governance, Policy Solutions and Sustainable Urban Development. The first area addresses the institutions and policy-making processes by which societies make their major collective decisions. It is concerned with how best to legislate, regulate, manage and provide public goods and services. The second area, Policy Solutions, deals with environmental regulation, monetary policy, educational reform, affordable housing and population and demographic changes. The final research field seeks to design healthy and sustainable communities, both in the short run and for decades to come. USC Price is currently ranked among the top graduate schools in the United States for urban planning.
