UKNA lecture
29/09/2014 (All day)

Since the late 1970s, the Chinese ‘reform and opening-up policy’ has guided China’s transition from a planned economy to a market economy. Fast-paced economic growth and urbanization, interacting with market-oriented reforms in land resources allocation, have caused profound spatial restructuring of Chinese cities. As the biggest and most prosperous city of China, Shanghai is the best example to illustrate these changes.
