- Bio
My name is Xiaolan (林晓兰), trained as architect in China and the Netherlands. Prior to joining the International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS), I worked at various architectural offices both in China and the Netherlands.
I recently took up a new position at IIAS as a project administrator. Prior to this, I was involved in two IIAS initiated programmes as a coordinator, namely the Urban Knowledge Network Asia (UKNA) and Humanities across Borders (HaB). Both of them are deeply rooted in the humanistic studies with a wider spectrum of expertise’s, such as artists, writers, craft practitioners, ethnographers, community activists. One of my key responsibilities is providing financial and administrative support to the programme planning and execution.
